"In 1979, I moved to this area to pursue a career in obstetrics and gynecology. By then I was already a young art lover and possessed few pieces of art. I became acquainted with the establishment of a new Watercolor Society in the State of Ohio, composed of artists who were members of the American Watercolor Society. Intrigued by this development, I decided to focus my attention on acquiring the gold, silver, and bronze medal-winning pieces from their annual exhibitions. Subsequently, I have had the privilege of exhibiting these remarkable paintings in Bolivia on two separate occasions, as well as in Columbus, Ohio. It is my intention to inform the residents of Ohio with this distinctive collection of artwork. I appreciate your assistance in facilitating the exhibition of the Ohio Watercolor collection to the people of Ohio."
