This course will explore 2-3
pop-up structures commonly used in children’s pop-up books. We will explore
the Simple Layer and the V-Fold to make a variety of pop-up cards. Ages 6-12.

The theme for this class is Pirates! Students will learn the basics of
clay while creating a pirate boat, treasure chest, mug with an individual
pirate flag decoration. There will also be a sea monster sculpture with
Treasure Island.

Using sculpey clay the students will create a decorative photo frame, lizard
magnet, a variety of beads, creatures created from a ball shape, and a
keepsake jar.

Learn the ancient Japanese art of paper folding. Students find that simple
folds make elaborate designs, creating a beautiful masterpiece.
