SPECIAL TWO-DAY WORKSHOP

THE ARTIST'S BOOK

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Instructor:  Melissa Eddings-Mancuso


This workshop will explore several different bound book structures for the visual artist to employ. These blank structures will provide fertile ground in which to explore and combine images, text, colors, textures, etc. No previous book-making experience required.

Learn the basics of floral design, bow making, and placement. Students will create a lovely centerpiece with matching wreath and swag.

Students will use hand building techniques and throw on the wheel to create autumn themed pottery such as leaf plates, candle holder and pumpkin side dishes.
