In honor of Martin Luther King Day and Black History Month, ArtSpace/Lima is pleased to present an exhibition of African-American themed quilts and an accompanying exhibit of  African woven, wood, and leather crafts in the auxiliary gallery at St. Rita's Medical Center.

The exhibit was organized by Brenda Ellis, in conjunction with the Sigma Mu Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, whose members do extensive voluntary and professional service in the Lima community, with a special focus on education, the arts, and family health.  The group provides college scholarships for both traditional and non-traditional students.

ArtSpace/Lima's Auxiliary Gallery at St. Rita's Medical Center is located on the second floor of the new wing.
